Explore the Sonic Boundaries with Antiánima
Antiánima
Antiánima is a contemporary jazz trio from Mexico created in 2019, made up of Ángel Herrera on bass, Luis Ángel Orduña on guitar and Samuel Sánchez on drums.
Antiánima’s music is characterized by the exploration and combination of sounds within contemporary jazz, punk, free jazz, progressive rock, electronic and hip hop. His goal is to merge these genres in innovative ways and create a unique sound experience.
Currently, the trio is presenting a new audiovisual concert, in which they are incorporating MIDI controlled visuals through guitar, bass and drums.
In addition, they are experimenting with the control of synthesizers, samples and sound libraries via MIDI, using their instruments as controllers. This search for new forms of sound and visual expression shows the constant evolution and artistic exploration of Antiánima.
